See how your voting precinct voted in 2020 compared to 2016

(Originally posted on February 5, 2021)

The New York Times just released a detailed map of how 1,922 voting precincts voted in the 2020 presidential election compared to the 2016 election. The map represents 64% of all votes. It was interesting to look at the Wenatchee Valley and look at the difference, which overall shifted more Democrat in the 2020 election, even if Chelan and Douglas counties both voted Republican in 2020 and 2016 elections. It's interesting to see that Wenatchee proper mostly voted Democrat in the 2020 election, which was a noticeable shift from 2016. What are your thoughts?

Tell us your thoughts on Trump supporters storming Capitol Hill

(Originally posted on January 7, 2021)

The national ripple effect of Trump supporters storming Capitol Hill yesterday has reached the Wenatchee Valley. Roughly 50 protesters gathered on Wenatchee Avenue, claiming an unfair election and voter fraud, as Joe Biden was certified as president-elect. Claims of voter fraud or election malpratice have been debunked by courts.

Both Chelan and Douglas counties voted majorily Republican in the Nov. 3 general election.  With two weeks until Inauguration Day, what are your thoughts or concerns? What are your opinions on yesterday's events? Remember, please remain civil and respectful in the comments or view our guidelines for more information.
